Niagara Gents Hockey has been bringing senior players together in the Niagara Region — on the ice and off it.
Niagara Gents Hockey is a senior hockey league for players aged 65 and over, based at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls. We run two divisions — for different ages and paces — so that every player finds their level.
We started with a simple belief: that the love of hockey doesn't expire. Neither does the value of showing up with people who get it. Every season, players return — not just for the games, but for what happens around them.
Whether you've been playing your whole life or you're returning to the ice after years away, you'll find a place here. What matters most is showing up.
Games are played to win — and played with heart. Two referees, stop-time periods, and re-drafted teams each session keep the competition real and the stakes honest.
After the final whistle, the league gathers at TAPS Brewhouse. Post-game lunches, end-of-season celebrations, and genuine friendships are as much a part of this league as the hockey itself.
Regular ice time keeps you moving, sharp, and connected. Players consistently report that this league is one of the most consistent parts of their active lifestyle.
